Holiday Inn Express & Suites Alton St Louis Area, an IHG Hotel

Booking.com falsely claimed that this place had an indoor pool. Immediately walking into the lobby, the staff informed us that their pool was still under construction, but Booking.com had their facility listed with an active indoor pool WITH PHOTOS!!!! The staff was nice enough to waive our fees and not charge us for this inconvenience, and even went out of their way to help us book a reservation at a nearby hotel that actually had an indoor pool. I would highly recommend this hotel, but not making the arrangements using Booking.com I will be deleting the Booking.com app after I’m finished typing this review.

The room and people were great!

Was clean guess only problem was in Marion, Il. Remote was hard to figure out. Front desk helped me.
